How It Works By Induction Type Absorber

Inductive shock absorber is a new type of shock absorber which realizes the effect of shock absorption by using the principle of electromagnetic induction.

Inductive shock absorbers usually consist of components such as coils, magnets and springs. When the vehicle is traveling on an uneven road surface, the moving parts of the shock absorber (usually the piston) move up and down, which causes the coil to do the cutting of the magnetic inductance line in the magnetic field. According to the law of electromagnetic induction, an induced current is generated in the coil. This induced current creates a magnetic field, which interacts with the magnetic field of the magnet to create a force that impedes the movement of the piston, thus achieving the effect of shock absorption.

Function

The electromagnetic damping system operates through three key components working in harmony. At its core, the electromagnetic actuator - consisting of a coil assembly and permanent magnets - leverages Faraday's Law of Induction to convert electrical energy into precise mechanical force. Complementing this, a network of high-precision sensors including accelerometers and position monitors continuously track road conditions and wheel movements with millisecond-level accuracy. These real-time inputs feed into the system's electronic control unit (ECU), which intelligently processes the data and dynamically adjusts current flow to the coils. This closed-loop control mechanism enables instantaneous modification of the magnetic field strength, allowing for on-the-fly tuning of damping resistance to perfectly match changing road conditions and driving dynamics.
